Activities
At BishopsCourt, our philosophy is that our members should still be active members of their community. Our extensive activities programme enhances the lives of our residents by allowing them to continue to have an active social life. Social activities help new residents to adjust to life in the nursing home by helping to build new friendships, giving residents a chance to socialize and making them feel “at home” in their new environment.
Many residents enjoy taking part in different hobbies and activities, and visitors as well as staff are encouraged to join in the fun. This creates a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere within the nursing home, an important part of maintaining the health and well-being of our residents and providing that extra bit of sparkle to life. A broad range of activities is directed by our activities coordinator Susanne, who works with residents to develop a programme that meets the needs of all residents.
